Is this how you feel about your relationships?
Relationships play a huge role in our lives. But they come with their own challenges. That’s especially true concerning those that are closest to you – your partner, your family and your friends.
Relationship challenges can cause you to feel:
Unheard or misunderstood
Like you're constantly arguing or walking on eggshells
Disconnected from your partner
Unappreciated or neglected
Anxious about the relationship's future
Not important to others
If you recognize yourself in this description, couples/relationship therapy can help you understand what’s happening and guide you toward healing and reconnection. Whether you’re looking for support as an individual (relationship counselling) or together with your partner (couples therapy), I’m here to support you along the way!
Couples therapy & relationship counselling — which one do you need?
While both approaches aim to improve your relationships, there are some differences between them:

Couples therapy
Couples therapy helps you and your partner work through challenges together. Those challenges can include:
• Communication issues
• Lack of trust
• Ongoing conflict
• Emotional disconnection, and more
Thanks to couples counselling, you can strengthen your relationship and build trust.

Relationship counselling
Relationship counselling focuses on you as an individual and how you connect with others. It can help you understand your patterns, boundaries, and emotional needs, whether you’re single or in a relationship.
While couples therapy focuses mostly on you and your partner, relationship counselling can focus on your family members, friends and coworkers.
Common issues that couples struggle with

I work with couples who experience many different challenges. Here are some of the most common ones:
• Communication breakdowns and recurring conflicts
• Trust issues and emotional distance
• Jealousy or insecurity
• Different attachment styles or unmet emotional needs
• Life transitions, parenting stress, or financial pressure
I also work with couples affected by BPD or NPD.
BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder)
When one or both partners experience intense emotions, fear of abandonment, or rapid shifts in mood, relationships can become really difficult and, at times, even painful. Therapy can help you and your partner understand these patterns, increase emotional safety, and develop healthier ways to work together.
NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder)
NPD is a common issue if your relationship involves traits such as a lack of empathy, control, or emotional withdrawal. Here, therapy can help you set boundaries, understand underlying dynamics, and rebuild trust or self-esteem. Suppose you’re the one struggling with narcissistic traits. In that case, therapy can help you improve your self-awareness and empathy towards your partner, thus helping to break harmful patterns that have a negative effect on your relationship.
Virtual Relationship counselling: EFFT & Gottman Method
How relationship therapy can help

When we are working together, my goal and role is to create 100% safe and supportive space where you (and your partner, if we’re working all together) can explore your emotions, needs, and patterns that affect your relationship(s).
Through this process, you will learn how to:
Communicate more effectively and calmly
Rebuild trust and closeness
Understand and manage emotional triggers
Develop empathy and compassion toward yourself and others
Strengthen intimacy and shared goals
My approach incorporates Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) and The Gottman Method, two highly effective modalities for couples and relationship counselling.
EFFT & Gottman Method: Two highly effective approaches to relationship and couples therapy
Virtual Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT)
EFFT focuses on emotions and attachment — helping you and your partner understand the deeper needs beneath conflict. By creating emotional safety and learning to respond to each other’s vulnerabilities, couples often experience renewed closeness and trust.
What can you expect from EFFT therapy?
EFFT will help you explore emotional patterns that can cause disconnection and learn how to express your needs in a way your partner can truly hear. With this approach, you will build a stronger emotional bond and a greater sense of security in your relationship.
Virtual Gottman Method therapy
Based on decades of research, the Gottman Method teaches practical tools for healthy communication, conflict management, and friendship within a relationship. It helps couples replace negative cycles with understanding, respect, and shared meaning.
What can you expect from the Gottman Method therapy?
Many of my clients say the Gottman approach helped them improve communication, manage conflict in a more effective manner, and strengthen intimacy and trust. The focus of this modality is on creating a relationship built on empathy.
