Getting to Know Your Inner Manager
Questions you can ask the part that overworks, plans, and holds it together
About the workbook
The Stress and Burnout Recovery Kit is the load audit and the recovery planner. The Sleep and Rest Toolkit is the diary and the wind-down. This is a different sheet: a two-page between-sessions practice for getting curious about the part of you still on shift — what job it is doing, what it fears if it steps off, and what it needs from you now. It does not teach rest, and it is not a worksheet for handing the work to someone else.
It sits in the same family as Getting to Know Your Inner Child, Getting to Know Your People-Pleaser, and Getting to Know Your Procrastinator — short, careful about pace, written to sit alongside therapy rather than replace it, for the weeks when the duty has a grip. It points whatever you notice back to session if you are working with someone.
